Bailey was raised in Eureka, Missouri, and moved to Columbia in 2013 to attend the University of Missouri, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. Bailey stayed in Columbia, Missouri, for law school and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Bailey was a member of the Missouri Law Review and participated in the Veterans Clinic. Upon her graduation, Bailey clerked for the Honorable Paul C. Wilson at the Supreme Court of Missouri from 2019–2021. She then went on to work for the Missouri State Board of Registration of the Healing Arts, where she was promoted to General Counsel.
Bailey joined the firm in June of 2022 as an associate attorney in the firm’s Columbia, Missouri, office, and her practice focuses mostly on personal and commercial automobile accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, breach of contract, first party insurance matters, and bad faith litigation.
She lives in Columbia with her husband, Michael, and three dogs: Oliver, Cooper, and Dolly. In her free time, Bailey enjoys painting, reading, golfing, taking weekend trips to see family and friends, and exploring the wonderful parks and trails that Columbia has to offer.

October 2022 – Bailey Schamel obtains defense verdict after bench trial in Missouri. Plaintiff brought suit for damage to her ceiling alleging negligent completion of electrical work.
