Meredith was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She attended Kansas State University where she majored in Social Work and Spanish. Meredith then went to the University of Kansas for law school where she participated in Mock Trial, Medical-Legal Partnership and the Douglas County Legal Aid Society. Meredith also clerked for the Shawnee County District Court and was a legal intern for the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office where she advocated for clients and gained courtroom and trial experience.

Meredith joined McCausland Barrett & Bartalos in August 2020 after graduating law school. When she is not working, Meredith enjoys spending time with her family and going on long walks with her husband, Thomas and their dog, Henny. Meredith and Thomas also have nine chickens so she enjoys fresh chicken eggs daily!
